Dr. Jörg Brettschneider
Founder, Managing Director and Shareholder, Attorney at LawDr. Jörg Brettschneider, attorney at law, is the founder, managing director and shareholder of the firm. He has extensive experience in the listed fields of law and in German-Chinese cases. He specialises in the e-commerce, logistics and manufacturing industries; his knowledge of Chinese cross-border e-commerce is unique among German lawyers and advisors. Jörg studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the University of Cambridge, Queens' College. He received his doctorate from Bucerius Law School in 2013; his dissertation was awarded two prizes. He was admitted to the bar in 2013 (Hamburg Bar Association) and founded his own law firm in 2015. He is a member of the German-Chinese Lawyers' Association.
Yiwen Sun
Legal Staff MemberYiwen Sun is a legal staff member at the firm. She obtained her bachelor's degree in law from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2011 and a second bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from Wuhan University. In 2014 she completed her master's degree in international law at Xiamen University. She obtained her Master of Business Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cologne in 2023. She passed the National Judicial Examination in China in 2013 and was admitted to the bar in 2020.
Linxi Ji
Legal Staff MemberLinxi Ji is a legal staff member at the firm. She is a Chinese legal expert with international experience, holding a master's degree in Chinese law as well as two further master's degrees in German law (LL.M.) and in European and international law. After passing the National Judicial Examination in China in 2014 and obtaining her Chinese bar admission in 2020, she gained professional experience in renowned law firms, fiduciary teams and tax advisory firms in China, Germany and Luxembourg. Her focus areas are client advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, client onboarding and compliance. She is fluent in Chinese, German and English.
Xueting Zhang
Administrative AssistantXueting Zhang is an administrative assistant at the firm. She graduated from Inner Mongolia Normal University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in management and obtained a master's degree in art from the Mediadesign Hochschule in Berlin in 2024.
